Dave and Joy came to Greenville after camp was over for the summer, so we got to take a trip down to the Lake and spend some relxing time with all the kids!

The girls spent the night at my sister's house and got to listen to her husband (Dave) tell about how he works with bears. They hadn't trapped any all summer but, lo and behold, Dave got a phone call in the morning telling him of a bear that was trapped not far from where we were staying!

In August, we went to Pennsylvania to see Sarah and my sister, Mary Lu. We went to the park with Sarah and Emery and had a wonderful time! Lydia rode most of the rides with Emery.

In July, Lydia was able to travel to Papua New Guinea with some very dear friends from our church. She is thankful for this wonderful opportunity to have visited a third world country and see a side of life that is so different from hers.

This month we celebrated Shiloh's 4th birthday. Elisabeth and Jesse had us over for a nice meal and birthday cake for Shiloh.

Lizzie and Anthony with their 3 children came to visit last week. They have grown so much! Ben is 7,Gabby is 5 and Lilly is 4!

Forgot to say that the storefront looking thing is in the building where the skits are done for camp. Dave and another fella designed and built it.

Last week we went to visit Dave and Joy in Ringgold, Louisiana. It was great fun being able to play with Preston and see how he has grown! Matt got to do a little fishing, too! The lake is at the camp where Dave lives and works.

Posting pictures on my blog and on FB takes too much time, so for any of my long distance friends or family who want to "see" us, check out the blog..sorry if there aren't too many of us "old" folks on there!
